Fall/Winter 2009 Parents Forever Workshops
Learn to help your family through divorce alongside other divorcing and never-married parents when you attend a Parents Forever Workshop at any of the convenient dates/locations throughout the fall and winter of 2009.
Parents Forever is an educational program that guides parents in negotiating divorce-related decisions with the least possible negative impact on their children. The program was designed and tested by the University of Minnesota. It is approved by the Minnesota Supreme Court as state-mandated parent education.
Goals include:
- Eliminating conflict around children.
- Keeping children removed from parental issues.
- Ensuring children have involvement with both parents.
- Placing children’s best interests first.
Workshops are available in many locations across the Twin Cities, with dates currently scheduled through December 2009.

In addition to these workshops, Parents Forever offers two online parenting classes: Impact of Divorce on Children and Impact of Divorce on Adults.
The courses are totally online - with no materials to be sent or received via mail. You can take the classes whenever you’d like at your own pace. Different states require different course lengths.
