Legal Practice
Ms. Huson has been a partner with the firm since 2003. Even prior to graduating from law school, Ms. Huson focused on family law, serving as a Certified Student Attorney at both Legal Aid and the Office of the Ramsey County Attorney. In each of those positions, Ms. Huson focused on child support and paternity issues. Mr. Butler met Ms. Huson while she was still a law student, and convinced her to join the private sector of family law attorneys. Ms. Huson practices throughout the State of Minnesota, focusing on the seven-county metro area. Ms. Huson is confidant in the courtroom, having conducted numerous trials and hearings. Although Ms. Huson believes in mediation, as it is generally true that parties will reach a better result than a judge that does not know you, it is not appropriate for every case. If your case requires litigation, Ms. Huson has the skills and experience to aggressively pursue your rights and interests. Ms. Huson is familiar with the procedures in the differing metro counties and the individuals employed by the family court system. She will effectively navigate your case in the appropriate direction.
